Your Itinerary...
Your trip is 8 days, 7 nights and 4 rounds of golf. It includes your lodging, golf courses, rental vehicles and all taxes, resort fees and VAT.
You'll land in Savannah, Georgia and head to Sea Pines Resort (about an hour). You'll spend 4 nights there and play twice, including Harbour Town Golf Links, home to the PGA Tour's annual Heritage Classic. There are at least a dozen restaurants and bars we can recommend on the island, including some great waterfront pubs. You'll have plenty to do at night...
You'll then head to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida (about 3 hours) and stay at the Sawgrass Marriott while you play twice, including the famed Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship.
I've planned a night out in Jacksonville for you (take an Uber!) where you'll enjoy a trendy cocktail lounge, an American version of an Irish bar and amazing steaks at the best steakhouse in town. All within a 5-minute walk of each other.
On your day of departure, you'll return your rental vehicles and fly out of the Jacksonville International Airport (45 minutes from Sawgrass).

Transportation

You will pick up your vehicles at the Savannah International Airport and drop off at the Jacksonville International Airport.
Travel Insurance
Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available to you through 3rd party travel insurance companies. To protect your financial interests, you are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to make use of this service.

The crowning achievement of famed designer Pete Dye, no golf excursion to Hilton Head Island is complete without experiencing this Lowcountry legend.
ATLANTIC DUNES GOLF CLUB

Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III is a complete reconstruction of The Sea Pines Resort's historic Ocean Course, the first course built on Hilton Head Island. Featuring a pronounced seaside ambience and Lowcountry feel accented by coquina shells and seaside grass, Atlantic Dunes incorporates elements of the surrounding beachfront along with the area's native pines and oaks.
Atlantic Dunes benefits both visually and strategically from the restoration of natural sand dunes, as well as the creation of new dunes that blend seamlessly into the design. Tens of thousands of indigenous plants have been installed in these areas to complete the seaside feel, while the playing surface is a blend of cutting-edge grasses matching the superior strains of The Sea Pines Resort's two other acclaimed courses.
TPC SAWGRASS STADIUM COURSE
The world renowned Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is the first course of its kind. Built with the intention of being home to THE PLAYERS, it was created for spectators. It was designed as the first stadium-style golf course, offering fans clear and stunning views. The challenging layout is routed so that no two consecutive holes ever play in the same direction.
Traditional Scottish links-style bunkers, sandy waste areas, and water hazards that come into play on every hole make the Stadium Course exciting and interesting to play. There are also hundreds of oaks, pines, and palms throughout the course.
One of the most widely known, and feared, holes in golf is No. 17, the island green par three. Clearly one of your "bucket list" courses.
TPC SAWGRASS DYE'S VALLEY COURSE
Sharing a home with the renowned Stadium Course can be intimidating, but Pete Dye's Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass is definitely able to hold its own. The golf course features large greens and an abundance of water that sprawl across rolling hills and valleys.
During a renovation in 2006, more than 300 trees were added to the golf course and several bunkers were reconstructed to make them more challenging. Although not as famous as his older brother, the Valley Course is a fun, fair and challenging addition to your Sawgrass visit.
