Thank you for reaching out to us, below you will find your complete golf trip proposal. It includes a detailed itinerary that I believe reflects the trip experience you are looking for.

Your trip is 6 days, 5 nights and includes 3 rounds of golf. You will play Royal Troon GC, Prestwick GC & Crail Balcomie GC.

You will stay in Deluxe King Guest Rooms (one couple per guest room) at the 5 Star Marine Troon Hotel in Troon and the 4 Star Chester Hotel in Aberdeen.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to play Royal Troon, you must stay at The Marine Troon Hotel (the only tee times currently available are for guests of the hotel). For the Turnberry Ailsa Course, if you're not staying in their hotel, the greens fees are £1,000.00 per person. If you wanted to switch Prestwick GC on your itinerary for Turnberry Ailsa, the cost would be an additional $950.00 USD per person. Because of this, I have included Prestwick GC in this quote and not the Turnberry Ailsa Course, but I can book either one.

Our aim is to not only secure outstanding golf for you and your group, but to ensure every element — from arrival to departure — is thoughtfully coordinated. Should you wish to explore enhancements such as upgraded accommodations, additional rounds, preferred tee time windows, private transfers, caddies or dining reservations, I would be happy to tailor the proposal further.

Please keep in mind that tee times and room availability can change until confirmed. Once you’re comfortable with the direction, I can place courtesy holds where available and provide your deposit details and timelines to secure your trip.

ROYAL TROON GOLF CLUB

Host of 8 British Open Championships.

In 1923, Royal Troon Golf Club hosted its first Open and finally moved out of the shadow of its famous neighbor, Prestwick. It is a traditional out and back links course. The opening few holes are relatively gentle, with a series of short par fours running along the Firth of Clyde. It’s from these early holes that you get the chance to soak up the views.

The course measures 7,208 yards from the championship tees and bunkers are everywhere, the majority of which are not visible from the tees. There’s plenty of deep rough and a smattering of gorse and broom to punish the wayward shot. The 6th is the longest par five in Open Championship golf and the 8th the “Postage Stamp” is the shortest par three in the Open rota at 123 yards.

PRESTWICK GOLF CLUB

Host to 24 British Open Championships

Prestwick Golf Club was founded In 1851, with Old Tom Morris as “Keeper of the Green”. Nine years later in 1860, the British Open Championship was born and played for the first time at Prestwick. The Open has been held here 24 times, although the most recent championship was in 1925. St Andrews is the only venue to have hosted more Opens (26) than Prestwick.

The course is a traditional British links, with a layout of holes that snake through rugged dunes and rippled fairways. There are numerous blind holes and cavernous bunkers with wooden steps to take you down to the bottom. The greens are notoriously firm and fast, some are hidden in hollows while others are raised high. The majority are quite small and all of them have humps and hollows to negotiate.

CRUDEN BAY GOLF CLUB

Cruden Bay is a spectacular links course but tends to get overshadowed by its' Aberdeen neighbours Trump International and Royal Aberdeen, but even so it is undoubtedly a spectacular links in a glorious natural setting with towering sand dunes dominating the early play and holes.

Ask any golf course designer to talk of their inspirations and the chances are the name of Cruden Bay will crop up within a matter of seconds. Nothing unusual there, it’s a spectacular course in a glorious natural location.

Blind shots, driveable par 4s, monster par 3s, 90˚ doglegs, hidden bunkers, raised greens, plunging tee shots, treacherous burns... the course is a constant source of surprise and wonder and has encouraged generations of architects to seek out the unusual and unique features of a site. For that alone we should all be thankful. But this is no freak show or curiosity. It’s just one of the most memorable and enjoyable links courses you’ll ever have the chance to play.

THE MARINE HOTEL, TROON

The Marine Troon is a striking 5 star coastal hotel set along the Ayrshire shoreline, overlooking Royal Troon Golf Club and the Firth of Clyde.

Originally built in 1894, the property blends Victorian grandeur with contemporary design following extensive recent refurbishments that introduced modern interiors while preserving its historic character.

The hotel offers a variety of thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, ranging from cozy Marine Double rooms to expansive sea-view suites. Standard rooms feature plush bedding, blackout curtains, flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, and elegant bathrooms stocked with luxury toiletries.

Guests can also enjoy a full-service spa offering treatments, a heated indoor pool with coastal views, sauna, steam room, gym, and even a squash court.

The hotel has 64 luxury bedrooms and suites with contemporary designs and luxurious flourishes. In-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machines, designer toiletries, Egyptian cotton sheets, and bathrobes.

MERCEDES VITO 9-PASSENGER COACH

The Mercedes Vito Coach is a large van that comfortably handles 4 golfers, their luggage and golf clubs. The last row of seats folds down and gives you plenty of room for all of your luggage, while still providing 5 seats up front. It is slightly larger than a standard van and handles and drives just like a normal minivan. It's the perfect vehicle for a foursome of golfers!

Vehicle appearance and amenities may be different than the information provided herein. Vehicle size, amenities and style will depend on the time of year the trip is confirmed and deposits are paid and availability of vehicles with transportation companies.

EDINBURGH CASTLE

Edinburgh Castle has played a pivotal role in Scottish history, both as a royal residence and as a military stronghold. The castle last saw military action in 1745 and from then until the 1920s it served as the British army's main base in Scotland. Today it is one of Scotland's most atmospheric and popular tourist attractions.

The brooding, black crags of Castle Rock, rising above the western end of Princes St, are the very reason for Edinburgh's existence. This rocky hill was the most easily defended hilltop on the invasion route between England and central Scotland, a route followed by countless armies from the Roman legions of the 1st and 2nd centuries AD to the Jacobite troops of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745.

The castle is open year-round with tour hours ranging from 9.30am to 5pm.

GLENTURRET DISTILLERY

The Glenturret Distillery, nestled in the picturesque Perthshire countryside near the historic town of Crieff, is widely recognized as Scotland’s oldest working distillery. Its earliest known record dates to 1763, giving the distillery more than 260 years of whisky-making heritage.

Set beside the River Turret in a secluded glen, The Glenturret retains an unmistakably traditional character, with its historic buildings and time-honoured methods offering a glimpse into the Scotland of centuries past.

For visitors, The Glenturret provides an opportunity to experience Scotch whisky at its most authentic. Guided tours take guests through the production areas, explaining the traditional techniques used to create its single malt before concluding with a tasting of selected whiskies. More immersive experiences are also available, including the Whisky Maker’s Experience, which allows guests to explore the distilling process in greater depth and create their own 100ml bottle of whisky to take home.

The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant, led by Executive Chef Mark Donald, holds two Michelin stars and offers an elaborate seasonal tasting menu inspired by the surrounding Perthshire landscape.

DUNNOTTAR CASTLE, ABERDEEN

If you had to pick just one castle in all of Scotland to trust with your life in a time of great danger then it would without any doubt be Dunnottar Castle. No other Scottish castle comes close in terms of a sense of sheer brooding impregnability. This is a castle which looks across to the nearby coastal cliffs and sea and whose presence, even today, conveys a very simply message: "You are not welcome."

The outcrop of rock on which Dunnottar Castle stands might have been designed specifically to permit the building of the most impregnable fortress in Scotland. Sheer cliffs 160ft high almost completely surround a flat area over three acres in size. The rock was once joined by a narrow fin to the mainland, but even this was carved away to ensure access along it was not possible.

GLENFIDDICH DISTILLERY

On this tour, you’ll go on a journey through every part of the Glenfiddich tradition, to find out how the world’s most awarded whiskies are created.

The tour includes a visit to the still house where you can see how stillmen capture the sweetest part of the distillate from the unusually sized copper stills.

Time matters when whisky making. So, as well as touring the distillery, you’ll visit their original warehouse where you will explore the generations of gently maturing casks. You’ll also learn how they achieve depth and consistency of flavour throughout the range of exceptional whiskies.

The special conclusion to this visit is a tutored nosing and tasting of three world-renowned single malts.
