Transportation Info
Luxury airport transfers are included on your arrival day and departure day. A luxury private coach & driver is included for the remaining 5 days of your trip. Your driver will help with your luggage at the airport, take you to and from your lodging and all golf courses, suggest dinner and sightseeing options and be your personal concierge for the trip. He will suggest sights to see and be available on your golf and off days for sightseeing and other transportation needs.

ROYAL BIRKDALE GOLF CLUB
Ranked #38 in Top 100 Golf Courses in the World
Designed by George Lowe, Royal Birkdale as we now know it was opened in 1897. In the 1930s, the course was remodelled and upgraded to championship standards by F.G. Hawtree and J.H. Taylor.
The club was simply known as Birkdale until 1951 when King George VI bestowed the royal charter on the club. Royal Birkdale Golf Club has hosted all the important events—the Ryder Cup, Walker Cup, Curtis Cup, Ladies British Open Championship. The British Open Championship has been hosted at Birkdale no fewer than nine times (most recently in 2008).
It truly is a famous links and widely recognized for its fairness. If you hit the fairways, rarely will the ball be thrown off course. The fairways are laid out in the flat-bottomed valleys between the towering dunes. These dunes, in turn, provide superb viewing platforms for spectators.
ROYAL LYTHAM & ST ANNES GOLF CLUB
Ranked #54 in Top 100 Golf Courses in the World
Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the present Course constructed in 1897. The Clubhouse celebrated its Centenary in 1998. It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015.
Royal Lytham & St. Annes has 174 bunkers peppering the fairways and surrounding the greens. Although the not the longest of Championship courses, it is one where careful thought and accurate shots are essential. It is not a conventionally beautiful golf course as it is surrounded by suburban housing and flanked by a railway line, but it has a charm all of its own. It is a Links Course that is a long way from the sea yet close enough for the sea breeze to have an effect on one's game.
ROYAL LIVERPOOL GOLF CLUB (HOYLAKE)
Ranked #15 in Top 100 Golf Courses in England
Hoylake, as it is called by those in the know, has a long and illustrious history of playing host to the Open Championship and has now staged twelve, its first in 1897. Founded in 1869, Hoylake is the second oldest seaside links course in England – only Royal North Devon is older.
George Morris, brother of Old Tom, and Robert Chambers originally laid out a 9-hole course on the site of a racecourse and for the first seven years, golfers shared the land with members of the Liverpool Hunt Club. Three extra holes were soon added and in 1871, the course was extended to 18 holes. In 1872, the club received royal patronage from Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught.
Without doubt, Royal Liverpool is a tough links. Only six holes are in the dunes – otherwise there is little protection from the ever-changing wind. There is nothing artificial about the course. It represents a traditional, genuine test of golf and after 39 years away, The Open Championship returned to Hoylake in 2006, with Tiger Woods the winner.
SOUTHPORT & AINSDALE GOLF CLUB
Ranked #38 in Top 100 Golf Courses in England
Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club (S&A as it is widely and affectionately known), was founded in 1906 and is another great creation of course designer James Braid. This is a true championship course set amongst the dunes on the North West coastline of England.
The course has a very natural feel to it and is somewhat old-fashioned, with blind drives and obscured approach shots. The fairways wind their way through gaps and valleys between the dunes and many of the greens are on raised plateaus.
The club has hosted two Ryder Cup matches in 1933 and 1937 and a number of other prestigious championships including The British Ladies' Open and The British Amateur. It remains a final qualifying course for The Open Championship and it has been voted by one golf magazine as among the top 50 courses in Great Britain.
WEST LANCASHIRE GOLF CLUB
This renowned course north of Liverpool lies among a cluster of courses making up one of the UK’s finest stretches of links golf from Liverpool up to Southport. It is the oldest club in Lancashire, and one of the ten oldest in England, boasting a history inextricably intertwined with Royal Liverpool’s.
The club started out in 1873, when seven Royal Liverpool members decided golf should cross the Mersey. The two clubs shared memberships in the early years and West Lancashire has retained an unchallenged spot in our Top 100 Courses in the UK and Ireland rankings from the outset.
The course has has staged many top events, co-hosting the Amateur Championship in 2009 with Formby. It has also hosted Final Qualifying for several Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham and Royal Liverpool Open Championships.

The Hope Street Hotel sits handsomely in the heart of Liverpool’s Georgian neighborhood. The hotel has great neighbors... Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Everyman Theatre and a plethora of independent restaurants and infamous public houses. Two magnificent cathedrals bookend Hope Street and all are within a short stroll from the hotel’s front door.
The hotel's look is city chic, with original features of pink Cheshire brick, iron pillars and pitch pine beams. The cherry and walnut custom furniture and solid oak and birch floors complement the refreshing pallet of whites in the hotel.
