MCCORMICK RANCH PALM & PINE GOLF COURSES
The Palm and The Pine Courses at McCormick Ranch Golf Club are part of the extremely popular and picturesque 36-hole championship facility located smack in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona.
The two courses, Palm and Pine, both of which were designed by the late esteemed course architect Desmond Muirhead, have been delighting local and traveling golfers ever since they opened in 1972.
The resort is located in the heart of Scottsdale and holds a lot of history around the western days of cattle ranching in Arizona. The views of Camelback Mountain and the McDowell’s that surround Scottsdale make for a great day on the course, no matter what the score is on the card.
STONECREEK GOLF CLUB
Located in the heart of Phoenix with spectacular mountain views, Stonecreek Golf Club’s remarkable golf, upscale amenities and unmatched service have earned it recognition by Golf Channel as one of Arizona’s “Best Kept Secrets.”
Etched into the desert on pristine terrain in the heart of Phoenix, Stonecreek Golf Club's 6,871-yard championship course was originally designed by Gary Grandstaff and Roy Dye, brother of the iconic Pete Dye and part of the Dye Designs dynasty.
The result is an adventurous, breathtaking links-style layout that has been rated four stars by Golf Digest. Mature trees frame emerald green Bermuda fairways and hilly, elevated greens, with creek beds meandering throughout the course and coming into play on five holes – adding to the course’s beauty as well as its strategic diversity.
TALKING STICK O'ODHAM & PIIPAASH COURSES
Beginning with the O’odham layout stretching to 7,133 yards from back, the par 70 course offers players the opportunity to utilize low trajectory shots and bump and runs, Texas Wedges and stingers.
The Piipaash course is a complete opposite style design, crafted in a more traditional parkland course setting. Shorter in length (6,833 yards from the back tees), the par 71 places an emphasis on aerial attacks to hold the firm greens. Large meandering bunkering on most holes is the course’s defense, as are the tree-lined fairways.
