Your Itinerary...
Your trip is 8 days, 7 nights and 4 rounds of golf. It includes your lodging, golf courses, rental vehicles and all taxes, resort fees and VAT.
You'll land in Charleston, South Carolina and spend 3 nights at the excellent Vendue Hotel in the Charleston Historic District. While there, you'll play the Wild Dunes LInks Course in Charleston and The Ocean Course at Kiawah Resort, site of the 1991 Ryder Cup and the 2012 & 2021 PGA Championships.
There's plenty to do at night in Charleston, including having cocktails and a bite to eat on the rooftop bar at your hotel... along with 20-30 additional restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk of the hotel. As I've traveled to Charleston and Kiawah many times, I'm familiar with a variety of restaurants in town.
You'll then travel to Hilton Head Island and Sea Pines Resort (2 hours 15 minutes). You'll spend 4 nights there and play twice, including Harbour Town Golf Links, home to the PGA Tour's annual Heritage Classic. There are at least a dozen restaurants and bars we can recommend on the island, including some great waterfront pubs. You'll have plenty to do at night...
You'll have an off day to explore Hilton Head Island, go deep sea fishing, water ski or drive across the bridge to Savannah and sightsee for the day.
On your day of departure, you'll return your rental vehicles and fly out of the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (about an hour from Sea Pines).

Transportation

You will pick up your vehicles at the Savannah International Airport and drop off at the Jacksonville International Airport.
Travel Insurance

THE OCEAN COURSE
The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort hosted the 2007 Senior PGA and the 2012 & 2021 PGA Championships. The Ocean Course is only the fourth course to have hosted each of the PGA of America’s major championships.
Located on the eastern-most end of Kiawah Island, The Ocean Course has more seaside holes than any other course in the Northern Hemisphere, 10 right along the Atlantic with the other 8 running parallel to those.
Golf Digest named The Ocean Course “#3 Public Golf Course in U.S.”, #20 among “America’s Greatest Courses” and “America’s Toughest Resort Course.” It is one of only 17 “5-star” courses in North America in Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” reader’s poll.
WILD DUNES LINKS COURSE
The Links Golf Course was Tom Fazio's first design and today, it's still among his favorites. From the rustling palms lining lush, rolling fairways to a finishing hole overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean, the Links Course is South Carolina golf at its finest.
The course features narrower fairways, tucked greens, forced carries, good bunkering, excellent green shapes, while the finishing par 3 directly on the ocean.
The Links course is one of Charleston's best public options with views of coastal marshes, lagoons, the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The course has hosted a USGA major, the 1985 U.S. Senior Amateur.

THE VENDUE HOTEL
The Vendue Hotel is housed within seven historic warehouses dating back to 1780 that have been combined to form one hotel. The hotel is located in the historic French Quarter of Charleston and is a short walk to everything in the Historic District, including the waterfront.
Due to the historic nature of the buildings, no two rooms are alike and each is decorated with different period reproduction furnishings or true antiques.
The guest rooms at The Vendue offer a unique blend of historic charm (a nod to their restored 18th-century beginnings), and modern amenities and comfort. Many rooms feature wonderful architectural touches, such as exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and hardwood floors... or vintage-style furnishings like dark wood furniture and sometimes even fireplaces.
