Your trip to Pinehurst is 5 days, 4 nights and includes 5 rounds of golf. You'll play Pinehurst #2, #3, #4, #10 & Southern Pines GC. You'll stay in single guest rooms at The Carolina Hotel at Pinehurst Resort or The Manor Inn at Pinehurst Resort.
There is a significant price difference between these two lodging options, as well as a much lower price if you travel one week later. Because of this, I have given you pricing for all 3 options.
Your trip also includes riding carts at all courses, a Southern style buffet breakfast each morning, unlimited use of all practice facilities and all taxes, resort & lodging fees.
Our aim is to not only secure outstanding golf for you and your group, but to ensure every element — from arrival to departure — is thoughtfully coordinated. Should you wish to explore enhancements such as upgraded accommodations, additional rounds, preferred tee time windows, private transfers, caddies or dining reservations, I would be happy to tailor the proposal further.
Please keep in mind that tee times and room availability can change until confirmed. Once you’re comfortable with the direction, I can place courtesy holds where available and provide your deposit details and timelines to secure your trip.

It’s no surprise that the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area has the highest concentration of courses in the USA on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses.
Donald Ross, the legendary Scot who made his home here, left a lasting legacy by designing Pinehurst #2; Pine Needles, Mid Pines and Southern Pines, among many others. Modern golf architects, such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gil Hanse, Tom Doak, Rees Jones, Ellis Maples and Tom Fazio have also left their mark on the rolling hills of Pinehurst.
The late Mike Strantz created one of golf's wildest rides at Tobacco Road, where tradition meets fantasy at every corner. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw built the Dormie Club and have just started Pinehurst #11.
With over 40 golf courses in a 15-mile radius, and some of the first golf courses in the country, it’s no surprise that the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area is known as the Home of American Golf.

Availability of Golf & Lodging
All golf and lodging quoted in this proposal is on a first-come basis and is not being held for your group.
Since we cannot guarantee future availability, time is of the essence. We encourage your group to book as soon as possible to have the best chance of obtaining your preferred golf courses and lodging.
A 25% deposit per person is due now to confirm your trip. Your final balance is due 90 days prior to arrival.
Transportation
Transportation to and from Pinehurst Resort is not included in this quote.
Once at Pinehurst Resort, complementary shuttles will take you to and from all golf courses, lodging, restaurants and shops in the resort.
Deposit & Balance Payments
By making your deposit payment and/or any future balance payments for this trip, you acknowledge you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions, including the non-refundable deposit & balance payment policy.
Travel Insurance
Your golf vacation requires Epic Golf Travel to make significant upfront, non-refundable payments for tee times, accommodations, transportation and other travel arrangements to a variety of vendors. Because of this, all deposits and balance payments made by you, the client, are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-assignable.
We strongly encourage our clients to purchase travel insurance when making their initial deposits for their trip. Two such companies are Travelex Insurance (www.travelexinsurance.com) and GolfSafe (www.golfsafe.travelsafe.com).
Compared to the total cost of a golf vacation, the cost of travel insurance is typically a small percentage of your overall investment. Choosing not to purchase coverage means assuming the full financial risk if an unexpected event prevents you from traveling.

PINEHURST #2
Ranked #25 in Top 100 Golf Courses in the World
A three-time U.S. Open Site. A three-time winner of Travel + Leisure Golf Magazine’s Best Golf Resort in America award. The home of the famed No. 2 golf course. Pinehurst Resort seems to have it all when it comes to great golf destinations.
Around the world, Pinehurst is where the American golf story is rooted, and where it continues to flourish. Most know of its modern history – with stories like the Payne Stewart putt that won the 1999 U.S. Open. But locked with its archives are thousands of moments that define each generation for the past 100 years. Pinehurst is America’s first golf resort, and continues to be one of its' best.
PINEHURST #3
This classic Donald Ross design (circa 1910) mirrors the famous #2 in both looks and design, but is the shortest course at Pinehurst at just 5,155 yards. However, it is a fun and very challenging par 68 that was renovated this year to return many of Ross’s original design flourishes and characteristics throughout the classic layout.
Tiny elevated greens – averaging just 4,500 square feet each – demand precision, the kind of delicate approaches that will surely come in handy as you gear up for No. 2.
An interesting combination of par-3s and shorter par-4s provide ample opportunities to play aggressively in search of a low score. But beware – accuracy and distance control also come into play on a number of well-conceived doglegs.
PINEHURST #4
Pinehurst No. 4 had previously been ranked as one of North Carolina's top-five courses in the 1990s, but it slipped to No. 16 in the most recent Best in State ranking. The course, which was designed by Donald Ross in 1919, had previously been remodeled by Tom Fazio—who called the No. 4 restoration one of his proudest remodels to date.
Now, Hanse and his team have put their own signature on it, giving an ode to some of the Ross elements and creating larger natural “sandscapes” with native vegetation, including wiregrass and broom sedge plants, which matches the look of the restored No. 2, while being perhaps slightly more playable than No. 2.
A true work of modern art, Hanse has created a very strong second reason to visit the famed Pinehurst Resort.
PINEHURST #10
No. 10 is Pinehurst’s first new course in nearly three decades, but in truth it’s been centuries, even millennia, in the making.
The landscape underlying Tom Doak’s new design features native wiregrass, sweeping landscape and rolling hills formed by geology. Midway through the course, it also takes advantage of rugged dunes carved out by mining operations around the turn of the 20th Century.
The result is a spectacular course with 75 feet of elevation change that winds its way through the Sandhills on a path toward delivering a golf experience like no other.
Pinehurst #10 is The Best New Course in 2024 by Sports Illustrated.
SOUTHERN PINES GOLF CLUB
Ranked #40 in Top 100 Golf Courses in North Carolina
Southern Pines opened as a 9 hole course in 1906. Donald Ross did extensive work and completed all 18 holes in 1914. Although it is typically not as "manicured" in and around the course as other resort courses, Southern Pines is an original Donald Ross design and certainly on our list of must play courses.
The unending appeal of this course is the succession of one fine hole after another, this being the direct result of Ross's elegant routing of the tract over the rolling, sandy hills. Walter Hagen, Patty Berg and Sam Snead have all played here and enjoyed the challenge.
Neither length nor water are factors to contend with, nor is there anything forced or contrived about the course. Every hole features at least 20 feet of elevation change so it remains interesting throughout the round. Many greens sit on the high points of a hole, allowing Ross to create deep greenside bunkers.

THE CAROLINA HOTEL
The Carolina Hotel, a century-old, AAA Four Diamond gem dubbed “the Queen of the South", has hosted kings, queens, presidents and the best golfers in the world since it opened its doors in 1902.
This elegant hideaway is part of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning Pinehurst Resort, a mega-historic golfing retreat in the North Carolina Sandhills.
Traditional accommodations at The Carolina Hotel are exactly what you’d expect from a century-old, AAA Four Diamond winner: elegant and sophisticated, with classic details like a wood-and-wrought-iron headboard and calming neutral hues. Don’t worry, there are plenty of modern touches, as well, from the LCD flat-screen TV to the complimentary Wi-Fi.
Afternoon tea, parking and shuttle service around the resort are free. Other amenities include an elegant restaurant, a casual lounge and bar, and a coffee shop, plus tennis courts and bike rentals. There's also a fitness center and a luxe spa.
THE MANOR INN
Located a short walk from the Carolina Hotel is the casual Manor Inn. It has been completely updated and renovated, with the work being finished late Fall of 2019.
Built in 1923, the intimate Manor features 42 rooms including suites and adjoining rooms. All rooms feature modern amenities such as WiFi and flat screen televisions.
The North & South Bar offers a wide selection of fine whiskeys and cocktails, while just outside, Pinehurst Brewing Co. pours craft beer brewed on site. The Village of Pinehurst is also just a short walk away, making The Manor as convenient as it is memorable.
As with all resort accommodations, guests of The Manor Inn enjoy access to resort restaurants, pools, spa, fitness center, golf and more.
