DESERT WILLOW FIRECLIFF COURSE

The Firecliff golf course, measuring 7,056 yards, is a true test of skill where golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, numerous water features and more than 100 bunkers/waste areas. While enjoying your round, remember to take in your surroundings and appreciate the Desert Willow views and beauty.
The course opened in 1997 and was designed by noted golf course architect Michael Hurdzan with input from PGA Tour player John Cook.
PGA WEST PETE DYE STADIUM COURSE
When you think of PGA WEST, it is the Stadium Course that first comes to mind. Rated one of the “Top 100 Courses to play” (2016-2017) by GOLF Magazine and 4th toughest course in America in Golf Digest’s “Top 50 Toughest Courses in America” (2007), there may be no greater challenge or excitement in the game of golf.
A Pete Dye golf course, the Stadium delivers multiple adrenaline rushes throughout the round. The Stadium is the Host course for the PGA TOUR “Q-School” Finals every other year. Golfer’s must navigate the island green of hole #17, known as Alcatraz, as well as the menacing water-lined 18th as they end their golfing journey.
SHADOW RIDGE GOLF CLUB
Shadow Ridge is a par-71 championship course designed by six-time major champion Nick Faldo, marking his first West Coast design and is inspired by the classic sand-belt courses of Australia.
Generous fairways are flanked by bold bunkering and subtle undulations in the greens, encouraging thoughtful shot making throughout the round.
Water hazards come into play on multiple holes, particularly on the closing stretch, which features memorable water and creek elements that enhance both challenge and aesthetics.
The layout’s undulating terrain, pronounced bunkers, and mountain vistas create a distinct experience that stands out from typical desert courses in the Coachella Valley. A signature hole often noted by players is the par-3 17th, which plays over water to an elevated, contoured green framed by natural features and scenic backdrops.
THE CLASSIC CLUB
The Classic Club in Palm Desert is a par-72 course designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer with input from the PGA TOUR.
The layout is defined by its rolling terrain, generous landing areas, and dramatic use of water, with roughly 30 acres of lakes, streams, and creeks woven throughout the property and connected by 14 stone bridges.
The fairways are lined with more than 5,000 pine, California pepper, and olive trees, creating a lush, parkland-like feel that’s distinct from the typical desert courses in the Coachella Valley, all set against the backdrop of mountain vistas.
What makes Classic Club stand out is not just its scale but its pedigree and shot variety: it served as the host course for the PGA TOUR’s Bob Hope Desert Classic from 2006 through 2008, and its design rewards thoughtful play with elevated tees, water-guarded greens, and memorable strategic holes.
The course has received dozens of awards, including ranking among the “Top 10 Best Desert Courses” and listings in Golfweek’s Best You Can Play surveys.
